This sweet boy of mine will be 7 tomorrow. He's fully human now - he has a working memory, voices preferences, asks good questions, analyzes, empathizes, has a strong sense of self, creates, and entertains. He makes many of his own choices these days - mostly small, but some bigger. He's getting more and more independent, clever, and thoughtful - yet hasn't lost that wildly impulsive streak that children have. Its a magical combination that makes him a really fantastic companion. Liam, I hope the next year is a magical one. You are an amazing child and I'm lucky to call you mine.
